So I have determined we have fowl pox in our flock. I understand there is no cure but now what? Do I just wait and see how they recover.? Is there a point where I am better off to cull?

So far I see:
1 roo with some large scabbing on comb.
several hens with tiny black scabs
One hen with swelling around eye/ear area
several hens with no signs of infection.

1 of 3 turkeys with respiratory issue in last few days and watery poop for a week.

Thanks folks.

Where do you live? Fairly late to have pox, unless you're in the gulf coast area. I think the thing to do, from what I've read is to vaccinate the well birds. The sick, if they recover, will have good lifetime immunity.
I thought my roo had pox this summer but it was a yeast infection. With the cooler weather it's going away.
