got some new cold weather "friends"

Hi yall,

I've got a list of wild animals around here that I want to get pictures of....

pelicans weren't on the list!!!

We live up in northeast Louisiana & I've never seen pelicans this far north. Come to find out we are in their migration route.
Our little bayou was almost all frozen over,except right in front of our place. I spent most of the day watching them, they are a joy to watch.
I hope they stick around for awhile,I would love to get more pictures of them.

Even the neutra had a hard time getting around.

I wish we could view our pond from the house. I do enjoy seeing the birds that stop to rest there.

thanks yall,
they're still around this morning, but have gone down too far to get a decent pic. Hopefully this evening they'll come back.

I guess their usual feeding spot got frozen over & they found a nice place here.

try throwing them some fish..its cute how they catch them.
