got some new hens now old girls keep flying co-op to lay...

A few days ago I got 3 new hens to add to 3 I already had ( they are in a wired off section of the co-op)- anyway seems the old hens got thrown for a loop and stopped laying in the co-op. THey had never flown co-op before but now they leave for a little while and then come back and spend the rest of the day in the run again, i think they have new nests but can't find them... Do I need to shut them up in the co-op again for a few days so they start using the nesting box again? I want to get them back on the laying track before I let the neebies out.. thanks much

mine quit using the nests about a year ago. when I keep them locked in, they lay on the barn floor behind a section of picket fence next to the wall. when I let them out they lay there and in the fence row. Just being chickens I guess.
