Got the Mottled Orp hen I think

I do believe she is the same hen. I examined her well and all her under feathers are completely white. She may change colors on me again.

Julie I wonder if it is the same colour as the exchequer leghorns? I've heard of people using leghorns in there breeding programs.

Don't know Christina, I have been talking to some Enlish Chaps on a UK board about this color and one fellow who has the Leghorns say they hatch with a lot of white on their underbelly and up around. How is your little one doing color wise at this point. Are the feet still pinky and is there a lot of white in the wings.

Here he is. He is going to be a tank! I haven't seen much more white on him. His wing feathers that are white looks like the black is bleeding into them.

Christiana, My opinion is that he is definitely going to Mottle. Too much white on a black chick. He will feather in mostly black and then by the time he is three months I bet he starts getting the white. Thanks for showing him to me. I look forward to the updates
