Got my new babies today. Yippeeeeee. In the order, I received 5 "Assorted Brown Egg layers" I was wondering what you expert chicken identifiers might think they are. If it helps, I included a list of the possibilities, according to MPC, where I ordered them. They also said that if I ordered 5 or more, I would get at least 3 different breeds. I ordered 5, so there hopefully are 3 different breeds.

•Rhode Island Red
•New Hampshire Red
•Red Star
•Speckled Sussex
•Dark Cornish
•Light Brahma
•Australorp
•Buff Orpington
•Naked Neck
•Salmon Faverolles
•Dominique
•Barred Plymouth Rock
•White Plymouth Rock
•Partridge Rock
•Delaware
•Golden Laced Wyandotte
•Silver Laced Wyandotte
•Columbian Wyandotte
•Blue Laced Red Wyandotte
•Black Jersey Giant
•Buckeye
•Chantecler
•Barnevelder
•Blue Cochin
•Black Cochin
•Splash Cochin
•White Cochin
•Partridge Cochin

Thanks for any input!!

#4 & 5 Best pics I could get of them, and believe me, I took ALOT. Little farts wouldn't sit still!! Both of these ones have black on their legs, and one has a light spot on her head.

That's what I thought I would do, but when I talk to a rep from MPC, they said that they offered pullets in the Assorted Brown Egg Layers category that were no longer available individually. So that rules that out.

Ooh, lucky! You know, your top pic bears resemblance to my faverolle. Does she have 5 toes and a muff? And check the feet of your black chicks; my jersey giant had yellow bottoms as opposed to a paler color on australorps.

X 2.

And I love that little fence they're posed against! How cute!

I didn't start with the fence, but they wouldn't sit still. It helped keep them in place a little better, but only for a few seconds more. I borrowed it from my daughter's horse toys.

No, no muffs, and only 4 toes. I checked the bottom of the black chicks' feet, and they were kind of flesh/orangy colored. No one has any guesses on the lemon yellow colored chick, #2?
