i went out there with a cloth and yes it was dead with its little beach through the sac...

I really wonder why or what happened .... very sad but thanks for help

I've had this happen before. I think the mama just got disturbed and accidently cracked the egg (several times) maybe by moving or situating herself differently and all those little cracks started breaking off which causes the membrane to dry out, and inevitably the chick to die. It's a sad situation

yeah it looked like it was and when i opened it it was stuck to the chick.. the chicks nose was poked out it also
