So I had to ask, because my little Millefluer Pekin hen Fudge does a strange little thing.
If i tickle her back, she sit's down. I down put pressure on he at all, she just decides to sit down. It's funny because as soon as you stop she sits straight back up!
Anyone elses chickens do that?

LOL it's the egg squat!

They see you as their rooster and they squat because they think you're going to breed with them. Correct me if I'm wrong, people! All of my even somewhat tame hens do it.

That's called squatting - she's squatting down for the rooster to mount her. If she's not already laying, she should be soon.

They usually start the egg squat a few weeks before their first egg, so it could be soon!
