I've been making a lot of stuff lately involving feathers. Now that it's moulting time (well, it's actually coming to an end here), there's feathers everywhere, but most my birds are the same colors, and many of them end up dirty, in a nest, or trampled by chickens, LOL. I was wondering if anyone had a few laying around they don't plan on using for anything? Size, color, and what kind of bird doesn't really matter. But I can tell you I have a whole lotta gray feathers! Monday I plan on giving a lot of the same color ones (like some gray ones from all my blue pigeons) to the art teachers at school, since they NEVER seem to have feathers when you need them. May not be the pretty artificial colored feathers, but I think natural ones make stuff look much better! But we can't blame the two art teachers; everything is paid for out of their pockets!
Just thought I'd ask here, since I know there's a huge variety of birds owned by people on BYC. Lots of pretty feathers that would help out in projects in art class!
