Got two in the brooder, one falls over

Try a mirror. It makes them a little narcisstic, but it will quiet the cheeping.

Did you try the polyvisol on the floppy baby? I have never had the floppiness cure itself. You will have to intervene with vitamins, nutrients and water.

Is he dry already?

If so, I would of just kept him in the brooder, given him some Poly Visol, show him the food mash, water, and kept an eye on them.

Shrek did several backflips when he first came out and was learning what his leggs are for. The Silkies I just hatched were all super clumsy after hatching. It takes them a while to build up their strength after being cramped up in the old egg for so long.

You can read some of my blog on the post: First to hatch gets to play....
maybe what my chicks went through can help you out?
If it is just a case of the clumsies he should be ok. If he has wry neck or something else going on then he needs more help then being stuck in the bator.

Shrek and Rita both had a hard time moving on the wire bottom of my LG bator but as soon as they were put in the brooder they have been moving much better. Lola moved great from the get go.
