Gotta brag on my hen - wanted to share......

After all weekend of snapping away with my digital ( HOW did we live without digital camera's???) I finally got one that wasn't so blurry that you couldn't see a thing. I did get one with the maran hen turning her head so quickly that somehow, her eyeball ended up on her neck!!! Freaky picture! lol

Here she is all blurry with her blurry little chicks, it was worse than trying to get four two year old children to sit for a photo

I have a couple of friends that are photographers and I swear I am going to bribe them to come take photos. My digital camera seems to only take the pic after they have turned their head. LOL

Very cut pic. You can tell their chicks at least.

It's turned off really cool here (the high today was 60!) so I went out to make sure they were still with their new momma today and they are definitely her babies now. They will still climb on the toe of my muck boots and look up at me so cute but when momma went to clucking it was bedtime, they all piled in under her while I was standing there watching. It's just the coolest thing.

I took a Lot of pictures and was so sure there were some really nice ones till I got them on the computer, lol. HOW did that happen? They were milling around like fish in a fishbowl. I need a higher speed camera

You and me, both! I wait, and snap, and wait, and snap, and wait, and snap, snap, snap, snap and while my camera is REALLY good at action shots so there's very little blur, I still get pictures of where chicks WERE, or the backs of their heads, or just when they tuck their heads down to check their undersides and it looks like I have a headless chick.

SO frustrating!
