Gotta deal with spurs

As long the the sharp tips of spurs and nails are flattened a bit (heavy grit emery boards/sand paper) the roo might scratch/abrade/bruise the girls, but won't be able to open up a flank so as to require stitches, or lacerate their backs so the other hens go for the blood.

Is that a permanent fix marlinchaser? I am guessing it is. Thanks for the invite, I am thinking about it seriously! Do the roos toenails do damage as much as the spurs?
