so, Quackers, my female mussie hates pretty much everyone. she loves to "attack" hands. especially if you move your fingers around like worms. lol. sometimes she gets carried away and leaves what i call hickies lol cuz that's what it looks like. well my father is a drunk so when he is drinking i take Quackers down to take her frustrations out on him cuz well it doesn't hurt him and he laughs. so tonight i took her down for a visit and a frustration release and my dad was trying to pet her. i guess she did not like that and she flew out of my hands HAHAHA. it was soo funny. she does that in my room, but never down stairs. it was funny. i had birthday cards and a sympathy card from the vet about my bunny's death (not Billie but Lily) and they all ended up on the floor. lol. she created such a gust of wind. my mom dad and their friend pete had a good laugh. it was soo funny. then i let her walk up stairs and when i let her back in Duckie wasn't too happy that she left so he chased her and grabbed on to her and stepped on her some. poor girl but she flies away cuz his big mussie butt can't really fly.

but it was FUNNNNNY!!

Sounds like Duckie is starting to get the idea of what he should be doing to Quackers come spring - Stepping on her like that. Your babies have grown up so much..............

ohh yes duckie looooves mom's toe ring!! every day he tries to get my toe ring. and quackers loves to get my mom's rings.

they have. remember when they were babies??

brats. i kept trying to wake them up when they'd sleep so they wouldn't grow HAHAHA how mean of me huh lol. i remember when quackers was getting her little black feathers on her head and i though they were fleas HAHAHA and duckie had the one black feather on his white bib and i thought it was a flea lol. i was freaking out. i remember when they used to cuddle with me while i'd talk to you too. they grow too fast

yeah sticking your fingers in and letting them nibble until they get big and want to rip off your fingers lol. do you notice a difference with the mussie bill and runner or pekin bills? i don't know if they are different. ??

I cuddle My little muscovy every day- she does act different to the pekins she lives with, but none of them bite yet - Or even nibble. Sh has the cutest little voice in comparison to the pekins.
They are in my daughters bedroom so I dont see them very much. 6 Runners are in the lounge room and they are the nibblers of hands and all things shiney at the moment.

I have been so lucky to have four batches of babies this season, So many memories.... The first lot with little bus boy Scooter, who hatched as the ugliest duckling ever- And of course Glenn with he swollen tummy who was the reason we met!!! Flipps and her flipping, Trouble with posted eggs, power failures during incubation, Little Regie, hatching ducks in the car on the way to my block, $30 a week feed bills. 12 free hatching eggs after the incubator had already been turned off for the year.......

Today when I got home one duck was missing. She was hiding around the back of the shed.... She was behind some wound up chicken wire. Only one reason I can think of for a duck to be exploring out of the way quiet locations..... She is nearly old enough to start laying, Maybe she might surprise me soon.

awee how sweet. my babies were cuddlers too. not so much anymore. one flies to get the heck away from me hahaha. she lices me sometimes. she hasn't laid on my pillow much lately. prolly cuz she's jealous of billie.

i think we have been friends for 3 batches. i was not around for the first one, but it was beause of the first one we met!! you are lucky to have had so many babies hatch. and you can experience it with me when my babies have babies and i am a grandma at 22
