I have a six month old leghorn and noticed today that the spaces between her toes are swollen, not red, and on both feet. What could this be? She is my escape artist and she does fly over a 7 foot fence. Could this be swelling from landing hard on the other side. I do not have pictures, but will get some tomorrow if there is no change. BTW, no scab on bottom and certainly no limping. I would have never noticed if she had not come up to the fence to get a treat. Everything else is completely normal and she is in no distress. Thanks for any help.
