I am interested in trying out a couple of the waterers that are usually made from lowes buckets. Is that what's being referred to and does anyone know who does those?

Chicken Junkies listed those.

Sadly, I can't make it and I am after buff columbians and mottled right now. Are you going to do the swap at your place in the fall? Dewey said we can go as long as I don't go to Crossroads. I've bought 2 1/2 dozen of hatching eggs that are getting set next week. I am also bidding on another 12 on eBay (going for red browns, mottled, blue columbians and blues - lemon blues and blue mille projects?)

Personally, I would try to make it to crossroads. There will be a ton of show quality stuff there... I am trying to convince my hubby to go with me.

Very true, but the cost of going is going to kill us. If I had another friend to share half the cost, it'd be fantastic. My husband will also be missing 3 days of work to watch kids and do chores - he's not thrilled with that idea. The friend I was going to go with wants to go to the Columbus Zoo (she has no chicken interests). I don't want to make any other stops. And 19hrs in a car with chickens on the way back... I don't understand how you 'pro' exihbitors do it.
We'll see. I have some time to plan yet.

There is no way in the world Dave wants to go to Crossroads this year. I would love to go but cannot justify the entire cost. Now splitting the cost with a girlfriend or 3....

Now we're talkin'
