    Hi all from BYC.....................

I am currently working on a homemade cabinet incubator... using a wine fridge.
I have most logistics worked out, just the heat element I used was too weak (come out of a styrofoam bator)
I found out that the styrofoam bator element is only 25w, whereas the GQF 3015 element is 225w................ so I ordered 1.
Now, I just need to know how much I can stretch the element and/or how far it needs to be stretched for proper operation.
    FYI:
With the styrofoam bator, I could only get temps around 90 deg. I added a heat lamp as auxiliary heat as a test, and it did raise temps.

So any information would be greatly appreciated.... I am trying to get this thing up and running this weekend if possible.
