So my "new" but used GQF incubator keeps a steady temp of 115! From what I've read online, I need to replace the temperature regulator but I don't know where to start to find one, or how to replace it. Can someone help me? I'll try to figure out the model in the AM...

I actually need to get the temps down to around 85, as I'm going to try it for incubating my Bearded Dragon eggs.

What model is this, one of the styrofoam hovabators?
Are you certain your thermometer is accurate?
I would consider replacing the thermostat. This is cheap for the hovabators, you can buy them online, either real replacement parts or any sort of thermostat that is recommended for homemade incubators.

Thanks for your reply. It's a cabinet incubator. Not the thermometer, I had several in there to be sure. I'll post pictures here shortly...

I bought a used 1202 with an upgraded digital thermostat about a year ago. I had trouble figuring out the switch settings because I wasn't happy with the temp. I ended up calling the company and got to talk to an engineer who set me on the right path. I hatched over 600 chicks in that incubator in the past year, so his help was useful.

Give them a call.
