GQF incubator

I am pretty sure the plywood is only 1/2in thick . I was looking at a new one today and altho i didnt have a tape measure handy, thats what I estimated the thickness to be.

It sounds as if you are planning on building your own bator. Are you considering insulating the interior of your incubator? Plywood has about the same insulation properties as snow. Going with thinner plywood also means a lower Rvalue. 1/2in plywood is about 0.5Rvalue.

I suggest if you are going to build your own cabinet incubator that you consider using 3/4in plywood at the very least and insulate the interior for added heat retention. Even the thin housewrap insulation is better than nothing. It will make regulating the temps a lot easier and more consistant.
