GQF Sportsman Incubator questions

If you are buying a brand new one you really don't need to order the clear door. The new ones are not a solid door but you can see in them through the large viewing door, not as well as the plexiglass door but good enough. I bought two new sprotsman this spring and I love them. I have 7 of them now, they really are not as big as you might think, about 2 ft. wide, 3 ft. tall and around 4 ft. long. They are excellent incubators and I don't think you can go wrong getting one.

I agree with going with a new one ours we bought used and was said to be in good working order but was not. We did get it up and going and well we have not stopped hatching. Be careful it gets addicting. Don't say you were not warned

I personally would get the whole glass door but that is because I AM NOSY.

I bought a new one last year with the window in the door. I see no need to order the full plexiglass door. What it comes with is just fine.

Well after many phone calls between GQF and EggCartons.com I have ordered the Sportsman incubator and egg trays - also ordered egg cartons and labels. I ordered from EggCartons.com because their price was a little over $100 less but turns out they charged $125 in shipping for the incubator alone while GQF charges $46 so I guess it was a wash in savings. It will be shipped directly from GQF who said they did have it in stock and as long as they got the order today or Monday it would go out Monday or Tuesday. The lady at Eggcartons.com said she would fax it right over.

I have lots of special breed hatching eggs on their way so I hope it gets here soon. Looks like I'm now in the egg business.
