I just finished doing a bunch of research, and kinda feel like a dummy now....

Best I can figure, an electronic thermostat is the same as thermostatically controlled, yes? (Or no?)

Here's a question for all you Dickey owners... Once you get your Dickey set at the right temp, does it remain rock-solid, even when the eggs are "young" and "old" (i.e. creating different amounts of body heat), when the eggs are hatching, high humidity vs. low humidity, and when the incubator is almost empty vs. totally full?

Yup, temp remains at 100 on mine 24/7. Doesn't matter if the eggs are older or if I just put them in (once they get up to the right temp).​

Okay, I guess that means it is thermostatically controlled!

Hi I have a sportsman 1502 ....I love it I have experimented with staggered hatches and havent had an issue...the lcd readout is so simple...and it maintains its temperature and humidity wonderfully....when i scoop out hatched chicks everything goes back up in about 5 minutes.....my last hatch was 100%..cant say enough good things about it...i graduated from a tabletop Brinsea eco20....i am doing my last hatch now as i have way too many silkies now...happy incubator shopping...
