GQF Sportsman users I have a question for you.

I have a sportsman and have been using it for about a year now, I have great hatches and the incubator is working fine. My question is those that incubate quail the instructions say you can double stack the turning trays to double your hatch numbers, I have tried and my couturnix eggs are way too big for the trays to be double stacked, these are the blue quail trays that came with it. Are there any other tray out there that would permit these large quail eggs to be doubled stacked ? Where and price please.

You could probably find a hollow tube to increase the gap there, a 3 inch .410 shell plastic part cut off should do the trick

GQF has Chukar egg trays that hold 50 eggs they say you can double stack them also. Package of 10 is $7.50.

Brinsea Makes A Universal (adjustable?) Tray That Should Work In Your Sportman As Well, You May Wish To Look Into Those.
