Twist, maybe the dogs but I just cant see the yaks running away from home. It they stampeed you dont want anyone knowing they are yours anyway and WHO in their right mind is gonna say ohh I found a yak, Lets check him and see if he has a microchip .

you just never know in this day and age. The chips them selves are pretty cheap and so it the chipper gun, IT's the reader that is pricey.

If someone steals one, Twist can just whip out his expensive chip reader and have the sheriff arrest the yak thief.
Animal control would have a reader or a small vet office.
