but at least this year for the first time in a long time (unless work suddenly changes) my dad is off for thankgiving, christmas eve and day.

That's nice, Heny. Hope he gets the time off. When we were younger, hubs and I would occasionally invite people over from hubs' work who would otherwise be alone on the holidays.

Quote: I was in my mid 30s with my first, so was ready for it too, but being older had its disadvantages, mostly physical problems for me. I have vivid memories of nursing #1 in a dark and silent house at 4am. He used to sweep his tiny little baby arm across my chest, back and forth. Guess that was his way of communicating since his mouth was full.

Is everyone good?
Mostly good. Danna's husband needs back surgery and has to wait until mid December for an appointment with the surgeon. We have a few new regulars too. Twist has been lonesome being the only male around!

December is approaching. All systems still go?

Ok, i think what happened to greens is acombination. I hadn t watered in 2 days since it was cool & cloudy. Last time i watered was with miracle grow, i think. It was below freezing for 2 nights& something did eat all the larger greens. Smaller ones were wilted badly. I watered everything & maybe they will recover.
H2o im gonna take pictures of my F1 generation rhodabar & lemonbar roos now if gd doesn t wake up crying. She has a stuffy head & runny noose.
