Granny's gone and done it again

That's sad. They will eat your chickens and pets, though, and I would not let young children out with one around.

My computer is very slow this morning... guess it didn't get enough sleep either.
You said your Polish are scared of you. How old are they now?
IDK ? they were just hatched when I got them.

Are they feathered now?
I think it's normal for them to be fearful of you, especially when you aren't around them often. The females seem the most timid, but usually get more friendly after they start laying. Take them a treat every time you go out there and you will become their best friend... some boiled egg, bread crumbles, even greens of some sort if you've got grit for them... or meal worms. Once they associate you with food, you will be golden! I don't think holding them is necessary. The ones friendly by nature will be friendly as they age.

No they have a couple wing feathers. Not feathering like I would expect. I should probably check temps. I gave them baby grit and meal worms. They think I am there to kill them. They get as far away as possible even climbing on top of the others to get away
