Built nest in spring. First fire we built in fall, fire was flying outta the chimney. Must of been a big nest. We had heard them in the chimney.

I caught my chiminy on fire. Some guy was at my door saying flames were coming out the top. I think it actually cleaned it out .

In chimney. We put a wire cover over the flue after that.

Maybe she is thinking of Chimney Swifts. They are a type of Swallow i think. Idk my brain hurts this morning. I was dreaming of Mom and my Aunt who died of Alzheimer's.
