I read they are endangered for over hunting.  I would take the opportunity to breed them for release if it were possible. 

is it legal to raise this in captivity?

They are legal, but they have to be kept in temp controlled pens. They're actually a tropical bird and need the heat to stay alive. I may or may not have looked rather in depth into getting some lol

lol living in MS has it perks! The pen may need to be heated in winter but the rest of the year? XD they may need AC

just a quick stop in got most of the prep work done for dinner tonight other then a pie crust for the Sour Cream Raisin that Brett requested.
