Oh I have MORE birds molting. I will never hatch out in April again and keep chicks.

I have heard a lot of peeps complaining about the molt lately. I dont think its normal.

Yep. Lost two birds this week to the brrr. Daytime temperatures are not bad (almost to 0°F most days; even warmer sometimes ) but the night temps are brutal on the birds.

My poor ducks have icy heads and chests. At least they don't have frostbite... they're tough little birds. Chickens are way more delicate.
