Ok, so mammals turn uric acid into urea to excrete it via the bladder. Birds excrete uric acid directly.

My baseboard heater kicks butt. Unfortunately it also gets hot to the touch . I dont know if it gets fire hot but dont think I will find out . Bummer

If it's for the birds, you'd be better of with an electric oil filled radiator type like Twist uses. Have to keep the dust from building up.
