It is truly amazing how tiny they are! I put two on a spoon for a picture once!

Cap are quail eggs that tiny ? I would love to watch them hatch. I bet thats something. Think about a hummer hatching !

I thought I quit too. Birth control babies but i wouldnt have it any other way... At this moment. That might change 5 minutes from now.

Hubby got snipped and it worked. Then i ended up having a hysterectomy as well.

Hard to say.. Blindness and curled toes and crossed beaks were once known to happen when the chick doesnt set right in the egg during incubation.. They cant prove it to be incubation problems or genetics cuz most studies dont know the genetic make up of the prior generations. Others believe that certain breeds are just more rampant in these issues than others... EEs are known for cross beak...
