DD actually called me and asked me to cancel. Lots of black ice today . a few bad wreaks schools closed and I dont see a thing.
Shes not broody, LOL She hasnt started laying and she is about 2 months old . They all 3 the same age.
I have to leave by 2

Just go slow then. Seems like if you can get out of your driveway, that's half the battle. Maybe call the dr office and make sure they are open.
I had some pullets start setting before they ever laid eggs. Insane. One of my older hens is so skinny. She's been setting for months, and I'm putting her in the garage cage tonight to make sure she eats and hopefully break her for a spell. The rooster is going get mad at me, little twerp!

I drove detroit potholes for 25 yrs. I got this.
If I was being honest w/ myself I wouldnt care if all the chickens were gone if I could still talk turkey w/ everyone and get fresh eggs. I am tired and in pain too much and they are forcing me to get up and I know I need that right now.

I know what you meant about the chickens. My dad's dr tells him to keep working around the farm and chopping firewood. Told him the day he stops will most likely be the beginning of the end. Nice dr, huh?
