Mornings, The sun is shining out there. Hopefully I can get me some of that.
Im not gonna lie, 55 feels different. Cant explain exactly how but I kinda feel like a calm has come over me. I never noticed anything on the other 54 bdays , it was just another day. My oldest sister turns 66 today and my father would have been 88yrs today as well. He was one of the funniest men I knew. example;
I never went any where with him that he didnt run into someone that he knew and they were always glad to see him. So, it didnt surprise me when we were walking to the store one day and a car pulls up, The convo went like this ; John ? Is that you ? Last I checked it was.. John ! Its been a long time , why dont you come over any more ? At this point dad stops, turns, stares this man in the eyes and says, Because every time I did your wife would run me off saying you were on your way home.
