Granny's gone and done it again

They’re annuals, so not a big deal really. I’m surprised they went as long as they did! I could go cut the heads and have seeds for the rest of my life.

O my...sounds scary Camp...I hope she recovers fast and is back to normal.
Hugs.

Thanks Kiki. Good to see you back!

I never had a white egg from a silkie. And i had several pens of different colors.
When I got my eggs from a breeder in June all the eggs were off white and cream.
check all your silkies ear lobes. If they are white or blue then white is what they are laying .
all blue ears on the silkies. Only ones in this pen with different ears is the Cochin, D’Uccle and the 2 standards. But this egg doesn’t belong to the Cochin or D’Uccle for sure and blue is in the box so that leaves your bird granny, but she has white ears lol it’s a mystery!

Maybe the cockerel is laying

Where does he work?
Sorry, my reply got lost. :hmm

My son works for a small company that designs and builds woodworking machines used by cabinet makers. He builds the control boxes for the different machines and any other jobs that need doing. The machines cut joinery pockets, and one even automatically inserts the screws. Doesn't seem like a big deal, but doing this by hand is very time consuming. They do a good business.
