well, I just got a catalog from Burgess seed plant co. Guess I will check it out. Not sure why. It just makes me want things I cant have.

I have called the Zoologix place before for a canine diarrhea panel. They sent me the swabs . Is that what they check for in NPIP?

Another. Dead. Chicken. So now 66% of my SS are dead and they hit 6 months in February if any are still alive. Seems like i read that is when the start dying off the most from Mereks. Sooooo depressing.

Jane, I have tried a few times and summer keeps me hopping trying to keep them watered and in the end they die anyway. I dont have much shade yet.

I spent a ton of money on that good dirt w. fertilizer and water holding crystals and planted tomatoes in 5 gallon buckets. set them against the run where the water hose was in use every couple days. If I got a tomato it is more then I remember. Bought the expensive plants too.

Im so sorry Cap. I thought sure the denaguard would stop the deaths. Did you give it once or ?

I gave it as directed once. Then you can give it at a lower dose regularly. But i never got a chance, it has not been long since i gave it to them the first time.

I also bought a couple of those BIG pots thinking they wont need watered as much. I have some varigated grass growing in one and a tree in the other.

Ohh , The tomatoes wasnt a complete fail as chickens got some tommy toes and horn worms .
I planted a caltaba tree where it grows over the chicken run and it has wonderful shade and drops big juicy worms for the chickens . LOL

Pretty much. I’ll call on Monday and see if they’ll send swabs to do the test. I’ve never done a trachea swab before. I think it said I need 3.
