I'm not sure. He said he really loves the Orpingtons, but been a few years since I talked to him. He is probably keeping the varieties that are working well and dropping project breeds that aren't worth his time or don't sell well.

No, don't feel bad , it was totally worth trying. I would have. Just for diagnosing though, if it's not helping, she probably is dealing with Mareks. I was trying to think of anything else it might be. The only thing I've heard of acting somewhat like this is a toxic mold. Person's birds were dying off slowly but steadily, until she found the mold and started the right treatment.

Fayoumis are cute, like Campines. Very cool that they are resistant. If Cap could find some, maybe she could breed resistance and create herself a flock. It would need to be closed flock though.

Haha wishing. Tow rating is only 4500 and our trailer (flatbed trailer) is somewhere around 3k lbs. so nope. No hauling offroadvos unless things really go sideways lol.

But I can tow our “hot mess” camper...

Hubs looked over and said that’s the “recommended tow rating”. He doesn’t accept that this ain’t our tow rig it’s my commuter so HE BETTER TREAT IT NICE.

Granny- the ford trucks...they are big and scary and a huge pain in the butt to park in close quarters but the big ol ford trucks actually drive rather predictably. They’re not that bad. That being said I’ll still avoid freeway if I have to drive the tow rig to work lol and if I have to go anywhere I park waaaay in the boondocks...(hubs’ f350 is a four door long bed so yeah...it’s big lol. Our yard Forman if he notices me driving it will come out and guide me in so my nose or bum isn’t hanging out into the street at work....)
