Granny's gone and done it again

I made another sign.

Decided to organize the embroidery floss. I’m going to pick a few to keep in a shadow box, then put the rest into “lots” and sell on Etsy I think. First pic is all of it. Other pics are during organizing. I only sorted the little ones, the rest will have to wait.

Edit: oops, forgot pics.

This was from your grandmother? (I think you had said ??) Do you have anything that she made? Up at the farm, there is a big chest full of crochet and embroidery from my great grandmother. I have my grandma's sewing box and a bunch of her yarn too. I keep telling hubs this craft hoarding thing is genetic, but he isn't buying it! I have 2 huge totes full of calico from my crafty days stashed in the storage shed.

guess everyone is taking a siesta ?
I fall back asleep after waking up at 5 am. Wouldn't have been so bad except I didn't get to sleep until 2 am.

Yes! She made so many things. Mom has a lot too. Gma (I call her Donny) is still with us, but her mind is not. Lots of my great antiques are from her. We were always really close because I was the first grandkid, and she was a teacher/librarian so she insisted we learn things. Every granddaughter learned how to use a sewing machine and make a pillowcase. She had a giant collection of readers digest condensed novels that I took a few at a time to read, and then exchanged like a library. She could cook and bake anything. And her house was always messy!
