No, these were full grown bugs. They crawl into whatever place they can find and hibernate. They get warm, they wake up. I catch some every night. We had a bad invasion of them in the fall.

Sneaky bugs. Few years ago I kept finding Jerusalem crickets in the house. Big ugly things and I couldn't figure out how in the world they got in. The chickens LOVE them! blah

Ok , tell me what to do to get rid of mites

I will tell you what i did. I was so disgusted and there were lots of them so i got the sevin dust and dusted the birds and the coop. I already had it. Then i ordered Permethrin and diluted it and cleaned out the coop and sprayed it. So far no reoccurance that i know of. I did check one of the low ranking Polish today.

Yikes how did you rid of them

They always moved around at night. I scooped them into a jar and fed them to the chickens in the morning. They don't move very fast, especially on slippery hard floors.
