Sneaky bugs. Few years ago I kept finding Jerusalem crickets in the house. Big ugly things and I couldn't figure out how in the world they got in. The chickens LOVE them! blahNo, these were full grown bugs. They crawl into whatever place they can find and hibernate. They get warm, they wake up. I catch some every night. We had a bad invasion of them in the fall.

Yes I did hear that. Sounds like a good idea, especially sitting out there for the ceremony.LOL did you catch were they also have electronic back warmers/heaters built-into the parka's
I will tell you what i did. I was so disgusted and there were lots of them so i got the sevin dust and dusted the birds and the coop. I already had it. Then i ordered Permethrin and diluted it and cleaned out the coop and sprayed it. So far no reoccurance that i know of. I did check one of the low ranking Polish today.Ok , tell me what to do to get rid of mites
They always moved around at night. I scooped them into a jar and fed them to the chickens in the morning. They don't move very fast, especially on slippery hard floors.Yikes how did you rid of them
