She's probably trying to reach her doctor because she would be more comfortable if he was doing it. How critical is she? Should she head to hospital so they can take her.

I don't think dd vehicle would even make it to Indy & if she is in the kind of pain I saw her in the last time we were visiting granny. Then she isn't capable of driving herself that far.
