Granny's gone and done it again

I have a long handled rubber spatula from my bakery days. I call it my arm extension, lol.
It's you Lisa. I knew there was someone on one of these threads that once was a baker. I managed different bakeries in a chain of bake shops back in the late 60's early 70's. Everything from baked from scratch back then. Now days you empty a bag into a mixing bowl, add water and stir. Don't know how it can truly taste as good.

Guess you better get Roos then. Crunchy sleeps by the nest boxes every night like he’s guarding them lol

mine held off but they had problems..
I have found it is very difficult to incubate Silkie & other small egg layers with LF breeds. Had much better results running a seperate incubator for the small eggs. Make sure you rotate the egg slightly in the turning cradle because I found that they weren't rotating well because they are too small for the turner trays.

for some reason I thought yours were due before granny’s.
I looked at my text message from the lady I got silkie eggs from. I got them on Sunday Jan 28. But didn’t set them till feb 1. The lady was keeping them warm. I told her not to do that.

Different humidity requirements, found that out too late. Thanks for the turner tip! Never thought about that.
