Not sure what kind you want but pharaoh at cackle are around $2 but you have to buy 50. What about hatching eggs?

I would love to raise and release some Hungarian Partridge aka Grey Partridge BUT no one will ship chicks evidently they are mini cannibles at first

I could try it, but i have bad luck with shipped eggs.

BUT evidently tight and confined spaces are NOT the way to go. Now if I want to drive hundreds of miles I can get chicks.
