LOL don't need an over the stove and the old one "we" modified to hang under the counter. Not sure how much they have "changed" in the past 15 years , which is about how old the one that died was.

Could you convert old into storage? Then place new else where

those chicks are like failure to thrive and need scrambled eggs , possible tubed in food , vitamins the works. They look better Wishing

I can give them scrambled but they’re too small for me to tube. All but the gray silkie manage to get choked on water from the dropper. They all fight so I think they drink on their own. Only the gray silkie really loves to drink from the dropper. I give them several drops of the poly-vi-sol a day.

Can you set up a separate brooder for your special needs chicks?

The “bought” chicks are all doing great eating and drinking. I’ve dunked each of the special ones several times, but I think they were too stressed/trampled with the vigorous chicks. Hoping they really perk up now.



Yep, and with one leg straight in the air because of the tape. Each has a “good” leg that is getting stronger and bearing weight so they can hobble on legs and rely less on their wings. I’m really starting to feel more optimistic.
