I had to cull a pullet today. It’s the one that has struggled since I got her. The rest are fine. Made me sad. I kept apologizing to her. She was very thin and small.

8 eggs today. Dh is off to Ohio. Im home alone & bored. All this chick talk is making me want some. One of my 12 week ee chicks has red on his shoulders so roo. 17 week old bsl chicks have red Combs so I guess they are close to pol.

Guess I'm finally caught up, that is unless BYC hid a bunch of post. It was crazy catching up. Kept getting bounced all over the place. Each time I would get back to where I needed to be it had unliked everything I already had liked

I went in the torture chamber for coffee and came out with 4 cinn toast waffles with hersheys spread on them and big glass of cold milk. That was about 2 more then I needed. That made me think about Wishings (who must of blown away in the wind) cookies and thinking how strange it was she put cinn in them. It was yummy

Made some spicy hot boiled eggs for hubs & sil this afternoon. Used my Instant Pot to pressure steam the eggs. Eggs were 18 days old & I did one egg that was from yesterday. The day old egg shell stuck just a little bit & the 18 day old eggs peeled great. Very eggciting, will probably only hold eggs for 5 days before I steam them.
