But antibiotics should not cause that.

I wouldn't think so either, but I don't profess to know squat either. Have never heard of that, but I'm sure rogue infection can effect anything.

I scrambled egg (in the micro) 30 sec. on a paper plate. chopped it to small enough I was just able to pick it up. Pinched some between 2 fingers. Other hand I held the chick in my lap, used a fingernail to force the beak open then I slide the egg in almost to the end but not all the way. It swallowed it down. Not sure why I didnt choke it to death but I did this 4-5 times a day for a few days til it decided it rather do itself then be man handled.

Well friends, think I off for a snack & then to bed. I have to do the in town thing tomorrow. Out of most of my chicken supplies. Went to make up the little mini puppy kennel for my broody today & realized I didn't have any shavings to even put in it. Dumped all I had a couple days ago on the ground trying to make pathways that weren't flooded. Wonder if they have chicks in, we will soon find out lol.

If it saw wiggling worms it might not be able to resist them. Not intestinal worms, like live mealworms.

I couldn’t live I place with loose dogs. We have fencing to keep my dogs in and other dogs out. I have females in seasons. The last thing I need is some pit bull breeding my dog. We have high fences.
