Granny's gone and done it again

I cooked the most perfect tuna steak tonight. DH usually overcooks it. I asked what he thought and he said it needed to cook longer. So I guess we’ll each cook our own.

Twist, have been meaning to mention to you that my dd mother-in-law got her last test results back about a week ago. Her Lymphoma is in remission, thank God. Prayers needed for bil who was diagnosed with stage 0 Leukemia at the same time he was undergoing treatment for prostate cancer. He is now having a increase in his Leukemia cancer numbers. They are considering chemo shortly.

LOL so your "even" on my prayer list will do.

Can't the bank make you some temporary checks?
Ya ! I need the abilty to get off my duff and go get them though. Was right next door to the bank yesterday. Forgot. HEY, That must be where Robert gets it from.

Importance of Bats

The newsletter from, "The Texas Gardener Seeds" said: Put up a bat house to encourage the presence of these shy animals.

Bats consume
3,000 or more mosquitoes and other insects nightly, and bats are less likely to be rabid than dogs are.

Need another reason?

Bats are responsible for up to
95 percent of the seed dispersal essential to the regeneration of forests.

Our planet is populated with plenty of bizarre
and astonishing creatures.

Here are three from the Bat Family

Sucker-footed Bat

Red-Winged Fruit Bat

Left-Winged Ding Bat

So 2 out of 3 Bats have a useful purpose!

If we could just train her to eat mosquitoes...or anything useful !
The Bat was a good movie classic Vincent Price

Lisa, did you get all your stuff moved today ?
Not all, but I did get the green house top dressed with a layer of compost. It would be much easier if the green house wasn't built on an old foundation. Had to fill the wheelbarrow, wheel to green house door then carry it by shovel full to cover it all.

We need to get rid of the bats in our porch covered area out front.
