Granny's gone and done it again

Poor Cb this stuff is hard. He is being punished and hasnt been allowed on this thread for 2 days now. I hope he has learned his lesson. I might let him back tomorrow.

its 12:15 here so today sometime. then they will keep him overnight. Pick up is tomorrow at 12:30. He will sleep most that time. If you have ever seen a dog come out of that its not a pretty sight. They are transporting them somewhere . not sure. to the city though.

Neutering a male is a very quick procedure. They should not give him anesthesia that will last very long... certainly not all day. It is the most expensive part of the procedure. They would not waste it.

I hope they give him something for pain. I know its not near as bad a surgery as a spay . Not sure why I am making such a big deal out of it.

Quote: With our first, there were serious concerns about his viability (everything turned out fine!) but with the uncertainty, we really wanted to know. And so we could concentrate on names! 2nd one, I had a 3 yr old toddler and was too tired to wait for a surprise! And I wanted to know if I should still hang on to all the baby clothes or if I had to go out and buy cute little girl things.

The other thing I realized after the fact, my hubs REALLY wanted a girl. Knowing gave him time to adjust. Boy or girl, I didn't care one way or the other, so I would have been ok not knowing until the big day. But knowing was fine too.

Crack the whip granny! I have been trying to entertain him on one of his old threads. Wait until Friday when you are not so busy and have a chance to get rested. It won't hurt him. Builds character, and he will remember you mean what you say.

What if it's a black split to choc. Them what would happen? Thanks for the tips.

Ok, I did a little looking. With a lavender and a black split to chocolate, you will get 50% Black split to lav, 25% Black split to chocolate and lavender, and 25% Chocolate split to lavender. You will have to test breed and cull those that produce chocolate to get the chocolate back out of your program, if you want just black and lavender birds.

We've had names picked out for years lol This baby was very, very wanted and planned, while still being a surprise. I know my hubs wants a girl. I even asked him today if he would be disappointed with a boy, but he didn't understand why he would be. I want mostly gender neutral stuff, because I plan on plenty more babies lol
