The first stuff to come outside colostrum it is what all the antibodies from the mom that will protect the puppies until they deletions their own immunity. Very important they get that the first 24 hrs. It takes about three days for the true milk To come in. This is the same for all mammals.

and that we have , SO I quit squeezing Her mother and Les Aunt are showing LOTS of interest , May end up with a whole lot of "birthing coaches"

Will you move her after she has a pup and if you lose electric will she be able to keep them warm ?

I always have had to move them Abby started a litter in the backseat of my car. Had just stopped at the vet's and he checked her out and said probably a couple more days.

Then made a stop to rent a couple dvd's came out of the store and there she was with a puppy in the backseat. :barnie
