Hi Neatstuff!  It's raining here and the wind is howling.  Our patio is now knee deep in pine needles from the stupid dead tree from next door.  I don't like the wind.     Did you ever see the movie Sarah Plain and Tall?  The main character moves from Maine to the middle of the plains and the wind blows all the time. Torture!!   

Hi Wishing! It's 25 degrees here, but feels like 16 with the wind blowing 10 mph. It snowed earlier, but just enough to blow around a little bit. I don't mind the wind in summertime, but this cold wind makes my bones hurt. I loved the Sarah Plain and Tall movies, they were so good but looked like such a terrible, hard life.

I didn't realize there was more than one movie. I saw the one with Glenn Close. We rarely get down to 25. Too cold for me. You are in Montana? Can't remember my postal abbreviations. I have a Christmas card to send you if you pm me your address.

Right now it's not the moderating that's taking my time up
Poorly Nana, new job, horses, chickens, house chores, everything being hard work because it is winter!

Yes Charlie is looking forward to Christmas but he's being hard work this year as he's not said what he would like Santa to bring him
Santa is having to guess!

Yes, a terrible hard life in the wind!    I didn't realize there was more than one movie. I saw the one with Glenn Close.   We rarely get down to 25. Too cold for me.  You are in Montana?  Can't remember my postal abbreviations.  I have a Christmas card to send you if you pm me your address. 

I had to google, there was a trilogy of those movies. It's been a long time since I've seen them. I'm in Missouri, where your aunt lives.

I've lived here all but two years of my life so you'd think I would be used to the cold, but I'm not. I hate the cold. PM'ing you.

That's right.  My brain is more fried than usual.  That aunty is supposed to be selling her house and moving here to live in the old farm house up at my dad's.  She's in Farmington, kind of in the south, and does not like the winters, especially considering where she used to live-  Malibu and  Cayman Islands.  Lived the life of a rock star, seeing as how she was married to one. They moved to Missouri to be close to family, but everyone has passed now, including her hubs.  She says my dad is the last family she cares about, but he's getting older too, so she better get it on gear!! 

Farmington is all the way across the state to the East of where I live. I hope your aunty can get moved before the weather gets bad. It's supposed to be bitterly cold here this winter, even more so than usual.
