Only thing I agree about is taking Beth out of the room when they do the clipping. The little screams can really distress the mom and therefore potentially endanger the staff.

I don’t really have a preference to glue or stitch, both get the job done.

she will slim down a bit as the pups grow. I’d still give puppy chow.

I do understand that and can honestly see both sides. BUT I do know my dogs and Beth not being where the pups are I honestly believe would stress her out way more. And I was holding Beth the entire time

Oh and She will be on puppy food starting tomorrow night after I pick some up. For the calcium and extra goodies that I feel the mother needs in order to produce fab milk for the pups and to not ruin/damage the mother.

On the cochins? They each have a curled foot that didn’t fix with multiple tape shoes, and their legs don’t really work right. They can stand up straight and hop around pretty good on their peg legs. They’ll just be special.
Do you know anybody with a 3D printer? You could make them little Cochin prosthetics!

Im home honey. I know as much now as I did before we went. strep test neg. She examined Robert then Tom then turned to me. OK< Whats going on w/ you ? Your pouring sweat and in pain. I said, Oh I just sweat a lot and my foot is hurting but Im ok. She said, take your shoe off so I did. She said take the other off so I can compare so I did. She said, you have a ton of swelling over here. I explained the surgery . She asked, did you hear/feel a pop? I said yesssss. She said ok, come on lets get an xray. Thats when I couldnt hold back the laughter any longer. She asked whats funny ? In between snorts and giggles I said, But your not even my dr . ~! :lau  BTW, She is now and she wants me in the office tuesday. for xrays. cracking me up. LOL
Thank goodness so what does your son have, allergies? Hope everything is going to be ok.:hugs

So I have at least one 'moose" pup well compared to the rest, wondering if I should bottle feed him and then leave mom's milk to the smaller pups. I did that on the litter of 9 that Abby had, 2 of the pups were pushing a pound at birth.
