nope a "good one" will have multiple settings and also a "tone button" which I use as a warning sound if the dog still doesn't listen then they get the "ZAP" learn quickly and the vast majority of the time all you need is the tone. You do need to make sure the "probes" actually are touching skin.

I think more like licking a new 9 volt battery maybe a little more. I have never tried it on myself HOWEVER my brother and nephew say it can get pretty strong

I am an idiot. Yes, Lisa, I can bring it in. Im not sure I want to feed it to them now with crap in it. I scooped the hunks but I seen little dingleberrys in there. They got in the corn too.
