Granny's gone and done it again

Popping in to say hi. Been sick and in bed all day. Woke up this morning with temp of 101 and weak. Been coughing all night to the point I threw my back out. Woke back up at noon and ate a bit then right back to bed. I had to skip my trip to Rural king for chicken feed. Mom picked it up for me, told me chicks are $1.50!

hOW LONG BEFORE SOLO CAN HAVE SOME COMPANY ? caps lock. oops

Until i find some quail her age or the little ones get big enough to do without light. If i could have woke up this morning at 7 maybe i could have found some at the swap but i was just too tired. And i did get half the lean-to built. Hubby stayed inside all day, said it was too cold. He did take my tools into the barn while i ate lunch. And made a delicious supper. Pork , mashed sweet taters and corn.

Thanks! I have my yeti on the nightstand so I can take sips of nice cold water. It keeps ice for up to 24hrs!
No NyQuil here.

I thought it was just a cold been like this for about a week, but now coughing and fever so I’m going tomorrow.
