Did I say that I sprayed Josie and Jewel for fleas and treated Jewel's ear? I thought her foot looked better this afternoon but now it’s very red and swollen. The hotspot meds at TSC were $15 for a little bottle, so I decided to look up home remedies first.

Belle had a terrible flea allergy. One flea and hot spot city. I don't know if it is dog approved, but I would spray Bactine on her hot spots. She got to love it because it numbed the pain and she'd quit chewing.

Got the orchard mowed except couple places where there are the cut up dead trees. Gonna move & stack that tomorrow. Neighbor is coming in the morning to plow 1/2 my garden up. My back is hurting from 2 hours on the mower. Hope I can sleep tonight. Penny still hasn't given up my doelings. Told DD today if penny has a buckling that im selling him after he weans. She said she would want him at her house in town. Im sure there is an ordinance against that.

Mowing is really hard on the lower back. Might be worth it for you to invest in a back brace (truss) to help stabilize when you mow. My dad started using one, and he didn't have to spend 3 days in bed after mowing.

I know her nails are long, but trimming is a three person job. She’s a little insecure and has a few steep phobias.

Do you have fox tails there? She may have a bur burrowed in between her toes. Summer hazard here. I have to check regularly.
