Granny's gone and done it again

Kidney update!
Remember the young man that fell and damaged his kidney last Sunday? Well, he is still in the hospital. Good news is no surgery needed so far. The dr.s are hoping the kidney will kind of heal up on it's own, which it seems to be doing. It won't be functional, but at least he would be saved from an operation.
Bad news is he is running a low grade fever. More hospital time.
His injury is Grade V

Poor guy! Bet he wishes he went and bought a ladder!

I have decided to sign off BYC every night at 11:00 so i can be in bed hopefully asleep by 12:00. I am spending too much prime working time in bed. Lots to do. Fed and watered critters, one of the quail flew out of the brooder when i opened it up to water! Amazing, flying already and not 2 weeks old!
Cut Styrofoam to insulate my incubator storage bin. Photos tonight.

Could you do a patchwork repair and then spray with that bitter anti chew stuff for dogs to keep him from making new holes?

rain would take it off, the fence is in terrible shape and thats would be a lot to spray. I just flat need new fence

He was in the best trauma center in the county... then moved to one out of county but in his insurance plan. They are following the same plan. Hoping the fever is not a virus.

I know, that's the first thing I thought. Would probably mean surgery for him. Virus would be bad too. There is a second strain of flu going around now.
